Architectural Photography for The Kahl Home

A new federal regulation would have required the old Kahl Home location to have a sprinkler system put in for fire suppression which would require major renovations.  Instead the Kahl Home decided to build a new location with more room for expansion and a larger parking area for residents and visitors.  The 40 million dollar project was designed by THW Design based in Atlanta, Georgia and constructed by Russell Construction out of Davenport, Iowa.  It is quite a step up from the 99,000 square feet old location on 6 acres to 140,000 square feet on 40 acres at the new location.

AJ Brown Imaging teamed up with TAG Communications to shoot the architectural and marketing images for the new location.  The images will be used for THW Design, Russell Construction, and The Kahl Home's marketing materials and websites.  Also if you live in the Midwest you might see some of the images on their upcoming television commercial.  Until then here is a small preview of the beautiful new building that feels more like a resort than a home for the aged infirm.
